On 17 September, а leadership lecture titled «Iron Will – The Railway to Success» was held at M. Tynyshpaev ALT University. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Arman Bubikanov, Executive Director for Operations of the branch JSC «National Company «Kazakhstan Temir Zholy» – «Directorate of the Main Network».
During the session, Mr. Bubikanov not only shared his personal career journey in the railway industry but also provided an in-depth overview of the management structure of the Central Operations Department (COD).
He explained how the railway infrastructure operation system is organized, described the main units within the COD, and outlined the interaction mechanisms between departments. Special attention was given to key operational areas, including train traffic management, maintenance of track infrastructure, safety assurance, and the continuity of transportation processes.
Mr. Bubikanov emphasized that the efficiency of the entire railway network depends on the coordinated work of managerial and technical units and on the high qualifications of professionals in the field.
He also noted that JSC «National Company «Kazakhstan Temir Zholy» is open to cooperation with universities and is interested in developing young specialists equipped with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills in railway operations.
Students showed great interest in the lecture, asking questions about career growth, internship opportunities, and employment prospects within the national company.
