The Department of Transport Services and Business successfully held the defense of master’s theses for students enrolled in the educational programs 7M11355 “Logistics” and 7M04167 “Economics and Management”. As part of the final certification process, graduate students presented the results of their research on current issues related to the development of transport and logistics systems, supply chain management, business process digitalization, enterprise efficiency improvement, and modern approaches in economics and management.
During the defense, the graduates demonstrated a high level of theoretical knowledge, proficiency in modern research methods, and the ability to apply their expertise to solve practical challenges in logistics, transportation, economics, and management. The presented studies were distinguished by their relevance and practical significance and included recommendations aimed at improving organizational performance and supporting industry development.
Particular attention was given to sustainable transport and logistics systems, digital transformation of management processes, supply chain optimization, development of international transport corridors, and the implementation of innovative approaches in economics and management.
The conducted research contributes to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
- SDG 4 – Quality Education through the preparation of highly qualified professionals and the development of research activities;
- SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth through recommendations aimed at increasing enterprise efficiency and fostering economic development;
- SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure through studies on logistics digitalization, transport infrastructure, and innovative management technologies;
- SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities through the improvement of transportation and logistics systems;
- SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals through cooperation among the university, industry, and public institutions in conducting research and developing practical solutions.
Members of the State Attestation Commission highly appreciated the academic preparation of the graduate students, as well as the scientific novelty and practical value of their research, noting its compliance with modern scientific and labor market requirements.
