On November 28, 2024, a meeting with the delegation of Malikussaleh University (Indonesia) headed by the rector Prof. Herman Fithra was held at ALT University. After welcoming speeches by the leadership of both universities, a short presentation about the universities was given. After that, further cooperation between ALT University and Malikussaleh University was discussed, namely, student and faculty exchange, joint publication of scientific articles by scientists, attracting professors to give lectures, etc.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the universities.
Rector of Malikussaleh University Prof. Herman Fithra gave a lecture on the topic «Sustainability in Freight Transportation» for students and teachers of the Institute of Logistics and Business. Also, the students and teachers of the Institute of Transport and Construction attended a lecture on the topic «Vibration-based Structural Health Monitoring» by Dr. Sofyan, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Malikussaleh University
