During the visit to the People’s Republic of China, the ALT delegation held a number of meetings with partner universities in the city of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province.
General Director of Nanjing Huayuan Cultural and Technology Development Co., Ltd. Altynai Muhammed Isa organized a meeting for ALT delegation with two transport institutes of the city of Nanjing:
1) Nanjing Vocational Institute of Railway Technology;
President Du Guoxiong and Vice President Zhao Jing of Nanjing Vocational Institute of Railway Technology warmly welcomed ALT representatives. Nanjing Vocational Institute of Railway Technology has been ALT’s partner since 2021. Zheng He Kazakh-Chinese Institute of Vocational Education, Science and Technology was jointly opened. To develop the work of Zheng He Institute, the parties agreed to organize a summer school for Chinese students in Almaty.
2) Nanjing Vocational Institute of Transport Technology;
ALT held a meeting with Nanjing Vocational Institute of Transport Technology. An agreement of cooperation with Nanjing Vocational Institute of Transport Technology was signed in May 2023. President Wang Daofeng and Vice President Liu XueFen of the Institute and ALT President-Rector Saltanat Amirgaliyeva discussed issues of cooperation in the field of education and science, including the development and implementation of joint educational programs in the 1.5+1.5 format. The institute’s leadership organized a tour of transport laboratories, including air, railway and subway centers.
