The Head of the Office for Inclusive Education and Mental Health of Tynyshpaev ALT University, Shabdenova Daria Rakhimalievna, took part in the “PsyhoExpress KBTU 2025” event organized for the students of the Kazakh-British Technical University. During the event, she conducted individual express-diagnostic consultations aimed at supporting students and identifying psychological needs in a timely manner.
The event was organized by the Vice-Rector for Educational and Social Affairs and the Head of the Psychological Service of KBTU, Melita Tolkynzhanovna Abdullayeva. As part of the program, a seminar titled “Suicide Postvention” was held for university psychologists. The seminar was delivered by S.V. Sklyar, Director of the Center, Psychiatrist, and V.N. Zhumadilova, Psychiatrist, providing an important platform to explore current approaches to suicide prevention and enhance professional exchange.
During the event, psychologists from universities across Almaty had the opportunity to:
- conduct express-diagnostics for students;
- provide psychological support;
- carry out essential diagnostic and counseling work;
- share professional experience and methodological approaches.
