As part of the celebration of the Department Day, the ICT Department held an intellectual contest among second-year students. The contest was designed to promote teamwork, develop professional skills, and test students’ knowledge.
Second-year students participated in the contest, divided into teams. Each team represented their profession and presented a video describing their activities.
The contest jury consisted of distinguished representatives from various departments and institutes:
Head of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies – Dinara Tugelbekovna Kasymova
Head of the Department of Energy – Anar Tleulesovna Yegzekova
Assistant Professor of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies – Bakhytzhan Yestemesovich Mamilov
Deputy Director for Educational Work of the Institute of Automation and Telecommunications – Dauletkhan Naiman
The intellectual contest consisted of the following stages:
- Team Presentation: Each team created a video introducing themselves and their profession.
- Educational Contest “Who is Resourceful”: Teams answered test questions related to their profession and general knowledge in the field of information and communication technologies.
- Task Execution in Cisco Packet Tracer: Each team was given an assignment to complete in Cisco Packet Tracer, demonstrating their skills in working with network equipment.
- Passing Puzzles: Each team exchanged puzzles they had prepared in advance.
Conclusion
The intellectual contest was successfully conducted. Participants demonstrated their knowledge, skills, and creativity, showcasing a high level of preparation and teamwork. Winners were awarded honorary diplomas and cash prizes, and all participants gained valuable experience and new knowledge.
