On April 24, 2026, the Department of Architectural and Construction Engineering of ALT M. Tynyshpayev University held a round table meeting on the topic: “On the implementation of the Roadmap for training personnel for the road industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan” with the participation of representatives of the road industry enterprises. The event was attended by the directors of the branches of JSC NC “KazAvtoZhol”, JSC NC “National Center for Quality of Road Assets” (NCDA), JSC “KazdorNII”, as well as representatives of other relevant organizations. In total, more than 40 industry experts took part in the round table.
During the meeting, topical issues of personnel training for the road industry were discussed, including the organization of students’ practical training, the distribution of graduates, as well as the prospects for the opening of a new educational program “Engineering of Highways and Infrastructure” (industrial Bachelor’s degree), implemented jointly with JSC NC “KazAvtoZhol”.
Special attention was paid to the issues of improving the content of educational programs. It was noted that at the end of each academic year, the university has the opportunity to adjust the content of disciplines to meet modern production requirements. In this regard, enterprises were invited to make recommendations and suggestions on topics that require more in-depth study, as well as to identify areas where teachers should focus special attention to improve the quality of training for future specialists. Such events contribute to strengthening cooperation between the university and employers, improving the practice-oriented nature of education and training competitive personnel for the road industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
