On April 17, 2025, senior lecturers of the “Language education” department, G. Daniyarova and N. Madeniyet, invited foreign lecturer Avoyinka G. Adetutu to conduct a seminar for teachers and students titled “Reimagining Education: How AI is Transforming Teaching, Learning, and Student Engagement.”
The aim of the seminar was to highlight the ways and benefits of using artificial intelligence, which is widely used in modern education and learning in accordance with the requirements of the time. Participants were introduced to various aspects of using artificial intelligence tools in the educational process. In particular, the following were discussed:
- Transforming Teaching: The possibilities of artificial intelligence to facilitate the work of teachers, assist in the preparation of teaching materials, and automate the learning process were discussed.
- Improving Learning: Ways in which artificial intelligence can help create personalized learning programs tailored to the needs of each student, provide learning materials, and monitor progress were considered.
- Enhancing Student Engagement: The potential of artificial intelligence to create interactive learning platforms and offer engaging tasks and games to increase student activity was demonstrated.
During the seminar, participants familiarized themselves with concrete examples of artificial intelligence and gained an understanding of how it can be applied in practice. The potential challenges and solutions for implementing artificial intelligence technologies were also discussed.
At the end of the seminar, participants shared their opinions and received answers to their questions. The high level of organization and the informative nature of the seminar were noted.
This seminar once again demonstrated the importance of artificial intelligence technologies, which make a significant contribution to the development of modern education.
