On September 27, 2026, as part of the Summer School, ALT University held a seminar-training on “Maintaining Mental Health” for the university’s teaching and academic staff.
The seminar-training was conducted by:
- Sara Musina — Master of Social Sciences, psychologist-coach at the Mental Health Center of the Department for Personality Development, winner of the “Best Psychologist of Kazakhstan – 2024” competition at the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University;
- Dariya Shabdenova — Master of Pedagogical Sciences, Head of the Office of Inclusive Education and Mental Health at ALT University;
- Nurkhan Kapar — psychologist-consultant at ALT University named after M. Tynyshpaev.
The seminar included interactive exercises focused on self-regulation, emotional balance, prevention of professional burnout, and practical psychological techniques.
Participants also explored interactive technologies, prevention of destructive behavior, emotion management, relationship crises, and effective communication rules.
The main goal of the seminar was to strengthen the psychological resources of teaching staff, increase emotional resilience, and develop practical skills for maintaining mental health in professional life.
