On May 26, 2026, at the university coworking space, Daria Rakhimalievna Shabdenova, Head of the Office of Inclusive Education and Mental Health, together with clinical psychologist Dina Kabiken from “NurLab Medical Clinic”, conducted a comprehensive series of training sessions. These workshops were organized under the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3 — Good Health and Well-being) framework, aiming to reinforce students’ psycho-emotional wellness and cultivate practical self-regulation skills. The sessions drew active participation from diverse student groups.

The thoroughly structured program featured the following components:

  • Group Sessions for Examination Period Preparation: “ALT Talks: Confidence at Exams is Real”;

  • Targeted Psychological Workshops on Emotional Intelligence: Conflict management, stress-management, and aggression control;

  • Proactive Preventive Session: “Prevention of Self-Destructive Behavior Among Students: Causes and Ways of Prevention.”

Throughout the interactive sessions, students acquired essential self-regulation techniques and practiced fast-acting anxiety-reduction exercises. The clinical experts demonstrated cognitive methods for distinguishing subjective thoughts from objective facts, while also building critical skills in emotional resilience and peer-to-peer psychological support.

Such initiatives play a key role in establishing a safe, inclusive, and supportive educational environment, promoting mental health awareness, and upgrading the psychological literacy of the youth.
