On October 25, 1990, the Declaration on the State Sovereignty of Kazakhstan was adopted. The Declaration proclaimed the sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR and declared the political and legal foundations of Kazakhstan as an independent state. Republic Day was included in the list of public holidays in 2001.
For some time – 13 years in Kazakhstan, this equally important and status holiday was canceled. Since 2022, Kazakhstanis have once again begun to celebrate with joy and pride a holiday that has historical significance.
For the ALT University named after M.Tynyshpaev‘s holiday has become a traditional, significant, national one. On this day, the Student Government, together with members of creative clubs, presented the audience and guests with an atmosphere of patriotism, pride for the country, for its residents and youth. The ART studio of the university in the lobby organized an exhibition of handmade works, where they offered a piece of all regions of our vast country to the audience. The groups of a dance group, a vocal studio, a theater club, students of the Institute of Military Affairs and a life band performed on stage, which made its debut on stage for the first time. The performance of the students touched the heart of every sitting spectator.
