On January 31, a guest lecture on “The Path of a Logistician After University” was held at ALT University. The speakers were representatives of the transport and forwarding company “LAM Kazakhstan”, Operations Manager Mendagalieva Anelya and Sales Manager Izbasar Aruzhan. The lecture attracted many students interested in a career in logistics and turned into a lively discussion about the profession of the future.

The guests shared the history of their company’s formation, discussed key areas of activity, and explained the specifics of working in logistics. A wide range of topics was covered, from organizing transportation to supply chain management and working with international partners. Particularly useful for students were practical tips on how to build a successful career in logistics and where to start their professional journey.

The speakers focused on the qualities a specialist in this field should possess. They emphasized the importance of attentiveness, stress resistance, analytical skills, and flexibility of thinking. A modern logistician is not just a freight coordinator but a strategist capable of solving complex problems and adapting to market changes.

One of the most pressing questions for students was where to find a job after graduation. Representatives of “LAM Kazakhstan” talked about in-demand positions, employment opportunities, and career growth in various companies, from transport firms to large international corporations. They provided recommendations on resume preparation, interview processes, and the development of necessary competencies.

The lecture was lively: students asked questions, shared their expectations, and received valuable advice from professionals. Such meetings help young specialists better understand the labor market and take their first steps in the profession with confidence. Logistics is a field that offers vast opportunities, and it is crucial to know how to find one’s place in it.
