On October 03, 2024, the Department of Energy held a guest lecture for 3rd year students of EP 6B07121- Electric Power Industry on the topic «Contact network control systems». Guest lecturer: Alexey Bondarenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Volga State University of Railway Engineering, Director of the INFOTRANS Training Center.
The lecture consisted of several key sections: Modern Technologies: Presentation of new management systems and methods, including automated systems of control and diagnostics. Case studies: Successful cases of introduction of control systems in different regions and countries. Prospects for development: Discussion of the future directions of research in the sphere of control of the communication network and the introduction of new technologies.
The lecture was held in the format of a presentation with active interaction with the audience. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss aspects of the topic of interest. The lecture was attended by students and experts in the field of railway transport, about 100 people. At the end of the lecture, the participants noted the high information content and relevance of the submitted material. Many expressed their desire to deepen their knowledge in this area and offered to organize additional seminars and workshops.
The guest lecture of Aleksey Bondarenko was an important event for the participants, which helped to increase the level of knowledge about the systems of communication network management and increase their importance for the safety of railway transport.
