Educational work with students is part of the educational process organized at JSC “ALT University named after M.Tynyshpaeva”. An important element of educational work at the university is the formation of professional and psychological qualities of future specialists. Special attention is paid to the assimilation of professional engineering traditions peculiar to the national engineering and scientific school.

The purpose of educational activities is to contribute to the creation of conditions for the formation of a student‘s personality – a person with spiritual wealth, ready for self–determination in life, capable of creativity and independence in various fields. Daily work with students is carried out by curators, deputy directors of educational work, directors of institutes. In dormitories, educational work is organized by the deputy directors of educational work and the boards of dormitories.

The basis of the educational work of the university is the basic principles of modern higher education, the main of which are the training of spiritually and intellectually developed, creatively working professionals-citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Department of Educational and Social Work is a structural subdivision of JSC ALT University named after M.Tynyshpaeva”. In its activities, it is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Law “On Education”, other legislative acts, the Charter of JSC ALT University named after M.Tynyshpaeva”, local acts in force at the university, decisions of the Academic Council of the University, orders and orders of the President-Rector, which are binding.

Areas of activity of the Department of Educational and Social Work:

• organization of educational work with university students during academic and extracurricular hours; creation of an educational environment conducive to the formation of an active attitude of the individual to his chosen profession;
• formation of students‘ civic position, preservation and enhancement of moral, cultural and scientific values in modern life;
• preservation and revival of the traditions of the university;
