ALT SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The Sustainable Development Goals are a kind of call to action coming from everyone — students, teaching staff/employees and founders. They are aimed at improving the well-being and protection of our planet. The Academy recognizes that measures to eliminate poverty should be taken in parallel with efforts to increase economic growth and address a number of issues in the field of education, social protection and employment, as well as combating climate change and protecting the environment.

JSC “Academy of Logistics and Transport” integrates the principles of sustainable development into its activities, remains committed to 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The Academy is aware that the environmental and social concerns that each of the Sustainable Development Goals reflects are relevant and have an impact on any organization.

Implementation of digitalization to improve and optimize the quality of education at the Academy: to improve and optimize the quality of education at the Academy, the Platonus automated information system and the Documentolog electronic document management system are used.

Platonus https://platonus.alt.edu.kz/  includes subsystems for student administration, support for the educational process and distance learning, and the Platonus Student mobile application also functions for remote access of students to their personal account.

Working with educational content in the educational cases section is designed to provide the opportunity to create and, if necessary, edit the content of educational cases (educational and methodological complexes in disciplines, lecture material, attached resources, added videos), each student has the opportunity to use his personal virtual office to familiarize himself with syllabuses, to register on elective subjects and the formation of their own individual curriculum, for access to a virtual classroom. The electronic journal is designed to keep a history of students’ academic performance, obtain statistical data on academic performance, summarize results, and view a transcript. The Schedule module provides viewing of academic streams by semester, teachers, audience and groups of educational programs, to view the schedule of training sessions. The system of messages and assignment of tasks allows you to conduct internal correspondence and monitor the completion of tasks. Testing consists of test designer, test review, testing, test statement, appeal, test group, also on the basis of an Integration Agreement with the Aero Exam online proctoring system No. 512 – ALT FROM 11/28/2023, https://altedu.documentolog.kz/workflow/document/view/3568fedd-cf76-44bf-9670-596ef1fa02b8/94d02e17-0ff7-4c31-8cb5-656466bb031d?mydocuments a tracking system has been introduced to remotely monitor the passing of tests conducted online, to exclude the use of prohibited sources of information by test takers and an objective assessment of test results by a teacher. This license allows you to implement such functionality as verification (confirmation of identity) of the test taker, as well as tracking the actions of the student taking the test online, including monitoring and recording the movements of the test taker in front of the computer screen, conversations near the computer and actions performed by the test taker on a personal computer (display tracking). The functionality allows the teacher to receive a detailed report on the verification and actions of each of the test takers, as well as a general report on violations of all test takers, which significantly reduces the time required to analyze the results of proctoring by identifying test takers with the lowest percentage of trust.

On the basis of Agreement No. 347-ALT dated 09/28/2023, the Documentolog PLATFORM electronic document management and business process automation information system operates, https://altedu.documentolog.kz/workflow/document/?mydocuments . According to the working instruction (RI-ALT-98) No. 53a dated 04/12/2023. “DOCUMENTOLOG ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM”, https://alt.edu.kz/normativnye-dokumenty/  the departments interact online, conclude contracts with students, conclude employment contracts, work with personnel applications, exchange electronic documents with government agencies, correspond with any other organizations.

All documents of the Academy are issued in electronic form, that is, a document in which information is presented in electronic and digital form and certified by means of an electronic digital signature. All documents signed by EDS in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 7 of the ZRK dated January 7, 2003 N370-II “On electronic document and electronic digital signature” are equivalent to a signed document on paper.
