Educational-methodical association of the republican educational-methodical council (EMA REMC) on the basis of the Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpaev ALT University is an advisory working body created in the system of higher and postgraduate education to coordinate activities of higher education institutions, quality assurance and development of education, as well as participation in pedagogical, scientific and academic workers, representatives of employers in developing educational programs.

The EMA REMC of ALT University includes educational and methodological sections in the following areas of training:

The EMA consists of representatives of higher and postgraduate education organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, countries of the near and far abroad that provide training in the relevant areas of training, representatives of employers, associations of employers and other interested bodies, teachers and scientific researchers.

1. Implementation of cooperation between universities, representatives of employers’ associations and other interested bodies in order to improve the external and internal quality assurance systems of higher and postgraduate education.
2. Preparation of recommendations on improving the state mandatory standards of higher and postgraduate education, classifier of training areas with higher and postgraduate education.
3. Participation in the development and updating of professional standards in cooperation with industry government agencies.
4. Development of recommendations on the formation of learning outcomes in the areas of higher and postgraduate education in accordance with the national qualifications framework, industry qualifications framework and professional standards.
5. Preparation of recommendations on updating the content of educational programs and the development of continuing education programs, taking into account the requirements of the labor market.
6. Development of recommendations for the introduction of innovative teaching methods and technologies.
7. Participation in the preparation and examination of draft documents on the development of higher and postgraduate education.
8. Participation in the implementation of professional development and retraining programs for university faculty.
9. Making proposals on the implementation of state policy in the field of science and higher education.
10. Monitoring educational programs of universities, taking into account the operational parameters of implementation (personnel, methodological, logistical support), developing recommendations for the inclusion or exclusion of educational programs from the Register of educational programs implemented by organizations of higher and (or) postgraduate education, in accordance with the order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 12, 2022 No. 106 «On Approval of the Rules for Maintaining the Register of Educational programs implemented by Organizations of Higher and (or) Postgraduate Education, as well as the grounds for inclusion in and exclusion from the register of educational programs» (registered in the Register of State Registration of Regulatory Legal Acts under No. 30139).
11. Formation of thematic plans for educational publications with the REMC stamp in the areas of personnel training.
12. Conducting an expert examination and reviewing of educational publications submitted for the assignment of the REMC stamp.
13. Conducting an examination of mass online open courses to develop recommendations for their publication and use in the educational process of universities.
14. Formation of recommendations on the definition of specialized subjects of the unified national testing, comprehensive testing of applicants.
15. Preparation of recommendations on the formation of an inclusive environment in universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
16. Analyzing and summarizing international experience in creating an internal and external quality assurance system for the educational process.
17. Conducting educational seminars, trainings, webinars, master classes, conferences.
18. Participation in the review and assistance to universities in the implementation of the annual recommendations on the rating of educational programs of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Atameken».
19. Development of recommendations for improving the mechanisms for managing the integration of digital technologies and artificial intelligence into the educational activities of higher education institutions, the formation of an ecosystem conducive to innovative development and the implementation of AI-based solutions;
20. Formation of recommendations and assistance to universities in the process of organizing the educational process using a dual learning system.
