Brief historical background of the Department of Combat Application of Combined Arms Units, Units and Compounds

From the day of its foundation and up to the present time the department trains reserve officers and reserve sergeants in military occupational specialties on the basis of higher professional education, in order to form a military-trained reserve of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1) reserve officers’ programs:

• combat application of combined arms units and compounds;
• organization of educational and ideological work in the Ground Forces;

2) reserve sergeants’ programs:

• shooters (squad leaders).

The department trains specialists in military occupational specialties for additional staffing of primary positions of officers and sergeants of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with theoretical knowledge and practical skills to manage the unit in peacetime and wartime.
