On February 20, 2024, at M. Tynyshpaev ALT University, a meeting of the “Transport” Section of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. Representatives of leading companies, scientific, and educational organizations of Kazakhstan participated, including:
- JSC “ALT University”
- JSC “Academy of Civil Aviation”
- LLP “Road Scientific and Production Center”
- LLP “Metroproject”
- Sh. Yessenov Caspian University of Technology and Engineering
- LLP “Kazakh Research Institute of Transport Safety”
- Department of Police of Almaty Region
The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the speech of the Head of State at the extended Government meeting on January 28, 2025. The President emphasized that logistics holds a leading position in the global market, and Kazakhstan must effectively realize its opportunities in this field. To achieve this, it is necessary to develop the country’s transport and transit potential by improving road infrastructure and enhancing the quality of road construction.
Particular attention was paid to the training of personnel for the transport sector. Participants emphasized that high-quality road and logistics infrastructure is impossible without highly qualified specialists – engineers, designers, builders, and logisticians.
As one of the country’s leading educational centers, ALT University actively supports initiatives for training professionals in the transport sector. Modern educational programs, partnerships with industry companies, and the introduction of advanced technologies in education all contribute to forming specialists capable of solving strategic tasks in Kazakhstan’s infrastructure development.
