Survey
A survey is a tool for obtaining primary psychological (socio-psychological) statistical information. It is conducted to identify the general picture of a specific topic. A survey is a system of questions united by a single research intent, aimed at determining the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the research object and subject.
A survey is developed as a logically connected set of questions corresponding to the main objectives of the research. The questions in the survey determine biographical data, opinions, evaluations, attitudes, value orientations, and other aspects.
The survey is conducted anonymously. It may include information about the respondent’s age, gender, type of activity, marital status, and other details.
Purpose of the survey:
- To obtain theoretical information;
- To study the target audience;
- To gather information about the level of knowledge of the study group on a particular issue;
- To reduce misunderstandings and increase the effectiveness of communication.
