Dear friends, on October 8, members of the “student government” with the youth of the city of Almaty and residents of the metropolis took part in a nationwide action announced by the President of the country Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev “No garbage in nature!”. Almaty students also supported the republican project Eco Student KZ.
More than 2,000 people took part in the eco-action, 35 tons of garbage were collected, 250 apple trees and 500 shrubs were also planted in the Medeu district.
Mass cleaning covered the most popular tourist places – the Kok Zhailau plateau, Butakovka, Kazachka, Kimasar and Prohodnoye gorges.
